Monday march 16

So we have been home a week now... man.. miss the Florida weather! Not much went on this past week, groceries, unpacking, resting.. now we are back to work! O I had a birthday, but you already know about that! We have been talking about Christophers 16th birthday. I know June is along time away, but with being busy busy in the summer, planning is everything. We are planning a cookout for his birthday, shooting for the 18th of July, you know who you are, put it in your book now. Cant have it on the 4th of July, and the 11th is Nannys birthday, so she will make it all about her... so the 18th it is! Looking at about 40 people... wwoo hoo, wow Pher will be 16... 16! Thats it for here, I am headed for the hot tub, the first few days back to work are always the hardest.. talk soon!

Sunday

Well, georgia is a long state let me tell you!! We drove all day yesterday and spent a few hours at marks house had a nice lunch, and, headed for pigeon forge tennessee. We are currently camped out at the willowbrook lodge for the night. Headed for home in the morning! Its a bittersweet thing, but we have had a great vacation and miss some things about home...see ya all soon

Saturday

Today is a sad day! It is time to pack up and leave!! Doesnt seem like it has been 3 weeks already, but I guess it has. O well we will be back next year, or Les and Heather will be here... lots of time to figure it out. But anyway, Thursday we went to Medieval Times dinner show, it was ok, food was good, but I am betting it will be closing soon, a place that holds 1000 people and there are only about half there, wont be open long. Good thing those 2 schools showed up! Friday we did some last minute running in the morning then had a pool day. We went to Romano macaroni grill for dinner with Chris then came back and Dave Dad and I went swimming till 10:30, then watched the NASA launch. Too bad the shuttle is going up in a couple days and we will miss it! Well I guess.. I have to pack and get a shower yet, so it is time! We are headed up to Tennessee to Marks house till Sunday night, then to Pigeon Forge for a day. We should be home Tuesday night...Happy Birthday your home....crap!

Wednesday

Hollywood Studios was cool, not much has changed there since our last visit,,, except the name. The American Idol experience was new, but if you wanted to see more than a couple auditions, you had to go out and get back in line... I dont think so! Tuesday we hopped the fence to the abandoned orange grove and cut down some orange wood to take home for the smoker.. then we had a pool day. Tuesday night we went to Wonder Works for the out of control magic show. It was pretty funny, turned out better than I thought it would be, and it was relatively cheap compared to most things. Today Mom and Dad are going to go to Plant City to Parkesdale for strawberry shortcake. Dave and I are hanging out at the pool. Chris Sweet is also down here, she is a few miles down the road, I havent seen her yet,, but she calls my phone enough to feel like she is sitting here. Thats if for today, I have a couple things I want to look at before the internet here kicks me off... Not a strong signal here and internet cost me 60 bucks for the 2 weeks we are here!! Hard to believe we will be home in a week!

Sunday

Wow! I didnt realize it had been so long since the last update! Ok Blue Man group was very cool. Alot of flying paint, lots of colors and toilet paper! Dave wasnt into the strobe lights, but it was good. During the show the turn on strobe lights, and from behind you the send out rolls and rolls of paper, its like a wave of sorts, you can either choose to send it up front... or get strangled with it! I do suppose with a few shots of the "blue brain freeze" things could be interesting. Thursday we had a cookout, it was good. Hung out at the pool all day. Friday we had another pool day, and went to Orlando to Salt Island for dinner with Randy and Jackie. After dinner we went to Old Town got ice cream and came home to sit in the hot tub for a few hours. Saturday we had a pool day, then went to KW kools for dinner, then back to old town for classic car show, then home to the hot tub. (do you see a pattern)? Sunday we started in the hot tub till it rained. We drove over to Hommasossa to see Aunt Carol. On the way home we stopped at Burger King for dinner, now the race is on and I think thats it for the night....till 10:00 when we meet Randy and Jackie in the hot tub...... thats it for today, tomorrow we are suppose to go to Hollywood studios and use up our last day on the ticket.. I will let you know how it goes!

Wednesday

So, I guess I am slacking on the updates.. Monday we went to the magic kingdom and epcot. It was a long day but the night parade was very cool! Would I go see it again? Yep! There are a few pictures over on myspace. Tuesday we spent the day at the pool and playing shuffleboard with Randy Jackie Mom and Dad. We all went to Carrabas for dinner then for groceries. We are going to have a chicken barbeque on Thursday so we gathered supplies for that. Today I think we are hanging at the pool for the most part. The timeshare is having a cookout for lunch, you get a hotdog and a bag of chips,, but its free so why not? We all got tickets to see the Blueman group tonight at 8. Other than that, not much going on,,, but that is a good thing! Talk to you later!

Sunday

So today was moving day.. always so much fun! We packed up and headed down the road, literaly about 4 miles. We stopped at a sizzler for breakfast barfett... it was ok. We got settled in to our new home and then went to the pool. After a couple hours we decided that was enough and came in changed our clothes and went for a walk. We saw a orange tree and a lemon tree on the other side of the fence, of course we had to have some! But there was that fence in the way! We set off on a search for a break in the fence, and found one, the oranges were so fragrant! We can never decide where to go for dinner so we put all our ideas down on paper and into a bowl they went, we pulled out Logans Roadhouse.. we all got ribs and they were good! Tomorrow we are going to Magic Kingdom to see the night parade and fireworks, so hopefully maybe when we get home I will put up some pictures here and also on myspace, if not they will be up Wednesday morning... ok thats it the race is on here are a couple pics of our new home!!

saturday

Today we started off watching the paving crew again.... not as much fun as the first day! Then mom decided we should go to a wine festival at the Lakeridge winery and vineyard in Clermont. Now, we like wine,,, but their wines sucked! We sampled 10 different kinds and there was only 1 that I would of considered buying. After we took the tour, and wine sampling, you paid 2.00 a person (which they donate to a different charity) and they have a craft show and live music and food. It was pretty cool, and nothing beats a good funnel cake! On the way back home, we stopped at a roadside market and bought some corn for supper. Dad wasnt happy we cooked in today, but we have been eating out so much it was king of nice just to have a sloppy joe and some corn. Tomorrow we move over to Orbit One! WOO HOO this place is nice but there is just something about Orbit that I just love, so I am excited about tomorrow!! Ok thats it, Dave and I are going to walk over to the little store tonight, I'm on the hunt for Mater from the movie cars. have a good night!

Friday Jan20

Today was a cooler day. We started off by watching the paving company try and do the parking lot here... I know boring right? It was funny, watcing the security guards try and find the people whos cars were in the way, they would get some moved and walk away and someone else parked there... anyway I guess you had to be here! We went to the pool around 12 and today was our free hot dog day.. so that is what we had for lunch. We stayed at the pool till about 6, there was a band playing from 4-7 but it was getting cooler so we left. I came up around 4ish and put on shorts and a tshirt, because I was burnt again. We went to Chilis for dinner tonight, nothing to heavy or fancy tonight, but much better than last nights barffet! After dinner we went to walmart to buy Dave a pad for his bed,,, but they were unable to sell them because there was a recall on them... great but then why are they on the shelves? Thats it for tonight,.. I think tomorrow we are going to the wine fest. have a good night!

Thursday

Well... not much went on today. It was a rainy mid morning and early afternoon, so we went for a walk this morning, and watched tv this afternoon. After the rain stopped we went for another walk. We went to western sizzler for dinner, it was your typical buffet... thats really it for today.... better luck tomorrow!

Wednesday Feb.18

This morning Dave and I went for a long walk. There are some other time shares right around us,,, so we snuck into them and checked out their pools! With so many people around here, no-one really knows where you belong! We are thinking about going to the place behind us and using their pool in the next couple days. We hung out at the pool here today, it was 80 degrees, so it was a perfect day. I got burned today... I had on tons of sunscreen, but it was no match for the day. I will not be having a pool day tomorrow! I am thinking I may walk over to the store and get some aloe? We walked the path for dinner and went to Charleys steak house for dinner. I had a pork chop, now you are thinking that is boring,, but let me tell you it was awesome! Best pork chop I have ever had! We got a piece of chocolate cake to split later for desert, it looks spectacular! Ok, thats it for today, I am going to lay in misery now, I am still thinkin about that aloe! Stay warm! day 3

So today Dad slept till 9:15! Wow! Dave and I started in the hot tub as usual. Then mom decided we were going to go to Animal Kingdom. It was cool, the last time we were there, I was so sick that I didnt get to enjoy it. I'm thinkin this might be my favorite park, I will let you know by the end of vacation, we got the hopper pass so we will hit all the parks. We got home around 5:30, and we all chilled. Around 8 Dave and I decided it was time for dinner and walked to the little grocery store and got cheeseburgers. Ida is such a dear, I think she is there from open to close? Ok that is it for today talk to you tomorrow!

day 2 in florida

Not really alot went on today. We went to walmart and got dads glasses fixed, picked up a few things, went and got the truck washed, then home for lunch. After lunch we went to the pool for a few hours, didnt seem like there was that much sun, but damn, I got burned! After the pool, we went to 2 different nature trail walks, it was kinda cool, fed the ducks... then came home. Randy and jackie came over for a couple hours, then we walked to dinner. It is a little italian place that actually looked pretty good... NOT!! Well, it was ok but tiny portions, Randy walked out of the restraunt and went next door to this little supermarket, that has hot foods... and ate a whole nother dinner. I am waiting for the pizza delvery guy, should be here around 9. We are all starving. On a sad note, Kips cousin killed himself today. Feel bad we cant be home to help them in some way... but thats not going to happen. Ok that is,, going to wait for the Flippers pizza guy! Hope all is going well for you!

day 1 of Florida

So we finally made it to our timeshare around 3:30 got checked in and finally got something to eat! We were starving, ate at the Black Angus Steakhouse. It was good, dad had a fight with his baked potatoe...it was kinda funny to us but, I dont think he was amused! After dinner we went to the store and picked up a few things to have here at home, you know staple things like milk, butter, bread those kind of things. After we got home Dave and I went to the hottub, he was really missing ours! Now we are all kinda just chillin, relaxing and stretching after all those hours on the road! It wasnt a bad ride, and all in all it doesnt seem like a bad ride. So far tomorrow we are going to find a walmart, Dad dropped his new glasses last night and popped a lens out,, so now we have to try and get them fixed. And Dave needs a belt we forgot his. Thats it for tonight,,, night Heather

Another snowy day...

So, it has been almost a week since I last logged in.... not much has happened to talk about. Today we met Kip and Jana for lunch at pizza hut, then went to the doctor for a back treatment. Thursday, we dont have to go anyplace now, they cancelled Daves physical therapy treatments... there is nothing they can do for him there, despite what the doctor thought. The P.T. place told us to call the blind center.... ok NO!! Friday should be an interesting day. We have to go back for another back treatment at 8:30 am, then to the school to pick Christopher up at 11 for wart removal at the doctors at 11:30, take him back to school, then Dave and I have haircut appointments at 1. Kole is coming over for dinner at 5 Friday where he will be spending a good portion of the night. Sounds like a long day!! Ok thats it for this week, my fingers are now numb from typing....

So since it was nice and sunny this morning, it inspired me to get off my duff and finally take a picture of the living room.....

Tuesday and Wednesday

Still not much new here.... Tuesday night we went to walmart for a few snowy day provisions then we went to visit Kole for a bit. He is such a character!

Wednesday, well,,, it is snowing and yucky out so we are still in our jammies, and that is where we plan to stay today!!

Monday

Not really a productive day in the least bit. Didnt sleep well last night, I guess I'm to dependant on sleep aids, so when you run out of them.... you dont sleep! Since I havent left the house today, I dont see a good nights sleep in the near future! Anywho, I folded like 5 loads of laundry this morning, I wouldnt have except the kid threw them all over the basement floor looking for something this morning!! Spent some time in the hot tub and havent left the recliner since... so no new picture of the living room today! Better luck tomorrow...we are suppose to go to a baseball meeting tonight at 7, but will we make it??? Stay tuned....till then

Sunday, January 25

I know it has been awhile since my last update, my faithful 1 follower pointed that out to me tonight at dinner, so Heather, I will tell you about my week. Monday and Tuesday we went to the chiropractor not much new there. Monday we had lunch at TGI Fridays, Tuesday we went to OCharlys. Tuesday night we visited with the Christensen family. Wednesday and Thursday we really didnt do much, we stayed home and chilled around the house. O dear, we were going to go to CICIs pizza, but it was so busy we ended up at Barbatos. Wow, we ate out alot this week?? Friday we went to the accountants, then shopping for the day, had lunch at Lonestar steakhouse, we each had a salad and split a burger, after lunch we went bathing suit shopping. Remind me why we didnt do that before lunch?? LOL! Then we went to sams club and came home. Saturday we didnt do a thing! Sunday we went shopping while Christopher was at baseball practice, then had dinner at mom and dads, but you already knew that because you were there!!! Now we are home and into our jammies, Christopher was sleeping when we came home, and its only 8:30! Thats about it for this week, I will try and keep you updated better this week, maybe even get a picture of the newly painted living room?!?!?

Saturday

Let me tell you my day... I got up early, made coffee, sat in the hot tub for awhile. Went to Heathers reception... nice turn out there! Came home, and painted all the trim in the living room. We made dinner, then sat in the hot tub again. Doesnt my life sound facinating? Wait till tomorrow!
